My name is Tiffany Mertz and I'm a little obsessed with Pokemon. And Harry Potter. And the Walking Dead. And Mincraft, the Sims, League of Legends...okay so I'm kind of into a lot of things.
So, when I found out that I was pregnant, I knew that I would want to write about it, but in a way that is unique to my experiences. I anticipated it wouldn't quite be like the cookie cutter mom-blogs we see all over the place. I am confident that while becoming a parent will change me, I will still be "me" at the end of the day. And I'll admit it...I'm a Pretty Nerdy Mama.
I look forward to seeing what my child's generation will have as their "nerdy" things. I also want to support and encourage my little one(s) to explore what he/she likes or doesn't like, whether that's nerdy things or music like Mommy and Daddy, or if that's sports or dinosaurs or insects or whatever. I want my kids to always know that it's okay to love something "too much." Because there is no such thing. We can never love enough.
So that being said, I hope that you take away from this page helpful tips, encouragement as a parent and/or fellow Pokemon Master. :-)
Enjoy,
Tiff
